the core

I am rewriting a kind of confessional-story of mine from almost 2 years ago [still in bathrobe, exauhsted, not having gone to work, or gym, or whatever], and realizing that P is right, in a way. Happiness isn't about getting certain things, happiness isn't even about relieving loneliness through marriage or any of its equivalents - its about remaining true to your own personal core, or rather, even coming close to that core, is a huge source of happiness.

Some would say that core is God. Like J from the ABC store in Amsterdam (who hasn't replied my email thanking him for the profound insights that his online articles gave me).
